Halsey needle holder
The image shows a Halsey needle holder measuring 130 mm (5-1/8 inches) in length.
This instrument features serrated jaws (illustrated in the small diagram on the top right), which provide a firm grip on surgical needles and help prevent slipping during suturing.
It has ring handles for controlled manipulation and a ratchet locking mechanism near the handles, allowing the instrument to hold the needle securely without continuous pressure from the user’s fingers.
Halsey needle holders are commonly used in dental surgery, oral and maxillofacial procedures, and delicate surgical applications.
The serrated jaws make this version ideal for gripping small to medium needles in procedures that require both precision and stability.
Constructed from stainless steel, the instrument is durable and suitable for repeated sterilization.
